We were put into groups for the music video video. I was put into a group with Bahno, Sonbol and Sahedul.

We were given our plan on how to complete our pre production work. Miss Gallagher outlined the requirements for this part of the unit.
Tuesday 20th November 2012
We all sat as a group and created a mind map with our initial ideas. We decided that the music track we wanted to produce a music video to is Chris Brown Beautiful people.
Tuesday 27th November 2012
We started task three. We completed the section on analysing the music video by including bullet points about the meaning, content, images used, duration, pace and style. We also included information about the performers style and image and the videos style and overall concept.
Tuesday 4th December 2012
We were carrying on with task three. Researching extra information about the music video. We searched for found footage.
Tuesday 11th December 2012
We looked at the plan and separated the pre-production tasks out between the group to complete over the holidays.
Tuesday 8th January 2013
Sat together as a group and checked if all the tasks for pre-production were complete. We also planned the location of where we are going to film next tuesday.
Tuesday 15th January 2013
We all went to Coventry University to find students we could feature in our music video. However, most students were still on their christmas holiday break. We came back to school and looked for students we could film. We also found a teacher that would happily feature in our music video.
Tuesday 22nd January 2013
Me and Sahedul went around the school to take pictures of a range of people. We looked for people we could feature in our music video. We took lots of pictures and used a range of angles and shots. We approached people who were all unique and were happy to feature in the video.
Tuesday 29th January 2013
Me and Sonbul went around the school to find students and teachers who would say ‘beautiful people’. We also found a student who mimed some of the lyrics from the song. Sahedul and Bahno were not available.

As
a group we filmed students outside playing and dancing in the snow. We also
filmed Sonbul walking on the wall and steps.

began to edit our music video.

back drop for the student to stand in front of.

a group we sat together and continued editing our music video.
Saturday 16th March 2013
Bahno
and Sonbul went out around Coventry town centre and filmed random shots of
people doing tricks near Coventry University, Lady Herbert’s garden and Ikea.
They also went on to the top floor of Odeon cinema and took a landscape shot of
the town centre.

As
a group we sat together and continued editing our music video.
Tuesday 26th March 2013
Our
music video was complete and we handed it in to our teacher. The music video
was played in front of our media class, so that we could get constructive
criticism and find out if they enjoyed watching it.
